Catrice - Dirty Berry
I shortened my nails. The corners of my nails were growing inwards, if you know what I mean. Today I'm showing you Catrice's Dirty Berry, a beautiful violet, prismatic polish. I might buy a back-up bottle of this one. I applied two coats.

Essence - High Spirits
High Spirits.. I like the name, but I don't really like the polish. I kind of bought it because I read a lot of positive reviews about it, but it's just not my colour. They only cost €1,29 so it's not a complete disaster if you decide you won't ever use a shade again. I applied two coats.
Nubar - Red Flame
I think this polish from Nubar is pretty old. I bought it in an amazing sale. This one is called Red Flame and I believe it is part of their Classic Collection. It's a beautiful red with an orange shimmer. It is quite sheer though. I applied two coats, but should've done three. I love trying 'less-known' polishes from well-known brands, some of them are so surprising!

Essence - Make It Golden over China Glaze - Passion & Seether/3DD concert
This weekend I decided to finally use this Essence Colour & Go polish called 'Make It Golden'. It exists of small round glitter and larger hexagon glitter. Make It Golden definitely needs to be layered, I would probably need around fifteen coats for full opacity, lol. So anyway, I wanted something festive so I layered it over China Glaze - Passion. I basically bought Passion just for stamping, because all these Romantique polishes are very streaky. This is actually the only simple gold polish I have except for a holographic one, so I had to use this one. I applied two coats.
Here's a picture of China Glaze - Passion on its own:

It's already a week ago, but last saturday me and a friend went to see 3 Doors Down, yay! It was really awesome. We saw Seether, too! So here are some of the videos we made:

Catherine Arley - 806 and my new snake ring
Sorry for not blogging for a while, I was busy doing.. Yeah, well, doing what actually? I guess I just wasn't into blogging for a short time. I did have my prom last week, which was less fun than I had expected. I might spend another post on that soon, where I'll also show a picture starring me wearing my dress.
So today I got this ring as a present from my mom, I love it, especially the small details on the snake's head. It remembers me of a holiday in Australia with my parents when I was about three years old and we were going to some kind of zoo where they were showing the audience some kind of dangerous snake. Everybody took a step back, except for me, I just kept standing there in front of the snake, staring at it, lol.
Anyway, I found this at my local drugstore, that was kind of a surprise.. I also looked at some other jewellery they have, and some of it is pretty interesting so I might go back some time.
Then I was just playing around with some polishes and I found this Catherine Arley jewel which I've never worn before. I think it goes pretty well with my new ring, don't you?
I bought this second hand from someone who apparently didn't want it anymore. I should just buy a bunch of them on Ebay, but I'm such a coward when it's about those things... So I bought this from someone who lives in my country.
So this is #806, a pretty bronze color. It leans more towards orange when the holographic effect is visible, but I would still describe the colour as bronze. The application was great, I love the brush. I applied two coats, but three coats would have probably been better. In real life, there is this visible nail line, but this is kind of invisible in my picture because all the holoness is going on.

P2 - Green Lagoon layered
Last weekend I wanted to do a sea nail art, so I decided to use a polish from P2 called 'Green Lagoon', this was in their Deep Water Love limited edition. Unfortunately, it's very sheer, so I decided to layer it over China Glaze - Re-fresh Mint. This is Re-fresh Mint by itself:
And this is P2 - Green Lagoon layered over China Glaze - Re-fresh Mint:
Just a small picture of the nail art, because I wasn't really satisfied. Could've looked better! I used SN Red, SN Blue, SN White, SN Yellow and SN Green for stamping. The imageplates I used are m28, m36 and BM09. I also used two glitter polishes: China Glaze - Nova and Orly - Here Comes Trouble.
China Glaze - Secret Peri-Winkle
Today I'm showing you a beautiful cream from China Glaze called Secret Peri-Winkle. It's not blue, it's not lilac.. So I guess 'periwinkle' suits this colour perfectly. It's part of the Operation Colour collection. It's easy to apply, only two coats.
